My talk on the theme of 'Spantenwagen' covered something of the history of Austrian Railways rebuilt four-wheel coaches, and my visits to heritage services in North-Holland and Lower Austria where they can still be savoured, and included some views on my model railway 'Altfelden'. A small selection appears here, along with the two short videos (YouTube) which formed interludes in the talk: the two lines are the Stoomtram Hoorn - Medemblik and the 'Reblaus Express' between Retz and Drosendorf.
